Tom Harrison is our Senior Partner and practices in Commercial Litigation, General Litigation, Personal Injury and Criminal Litigation. He is also the person responsible for the quality of all of the services we provide to clients and the person who will deal with any complaints.
Paul Cammiss is our Managing Partner and longest serving member of the firm having joined Adams and Land in 1971. Over the years he has practiced in many areas of the law but now concentrates on Criminal Litigation, General Litigation and Family work regularly appearing as an advocate in magistrates and County Courts across East Anglia.
Rhodri Rees specialises in Commercial Property and Business and Commercial work and is also responsible for the Residential Property work undertaken at both offices.

Melanie Pratlett is the partner responsible for the Wills Estates and Trusts area of the practice and a Member of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP).
Melanie is presently involved in the campaign to clarify the Chancellor’s intentions as set out in the recent budget concerning taxation of trusts and settlements.
Shoshana Goldhill heads up our Family team and specialises in children's issues and matrimonial finance and property disputes. She is an Accredited Specialist with Resolution (Solicitors Family Law Association) and a Collaborative Lawyer.
Jennifer Carpenter is our most recently appointed Partner (January 2005 ) and specialises in Employment, Personal Injury and Criminal Litigation. She is a Member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers and a Duty Solicitor for the Criminal Defence Service.
History
In 1834 Joseph Collin rented number 16 Church Street in Saffron Walden and began practising as a Solicitor. There has been a Solicitors’ practice at this location ever since. In 1877 Joseph's son Turner joined him as a partner. In 1895 Turner Collin changed the firm's name to Collin and Adams when William Adams was appointed as a partner. In 1929 Turner Collin retired, Edmund Land replaced him as a partner and the firm became Adams & Land
Harrison and Co was formed in 1984 by the current senior partner Tom Harrison.
Adams Harrison was formed in 1989 when Adams and Land and Harrison and Co merged. Three further firms, Steed Marshall(Haverhill), Roger Lord(Saffron Walden) and Bates Ellison and Morris(Haverhill) were acquired in the 1990's.
